Bargain from Amazon

If you have a keyboard Kindle then this is an awesome deal!

Right now Amazon are selling the official leather cases (with light) that is normally £50 for £10 in all the different colours available!

After you click the link go onto the used and new section and you'll find it there. They are open box with either minor imperfections or just the original packaging is missing.

I've just ordered this lovely red one-

Let me know if you buy one and which colour X

NOTW: Nails Inc Jermyn St + Nubar Diamont

I recently realised I've never tried a nude nail polish, despite having this bottle of Nails Inc Jermyn St for ages! My usual motto is the brighter the colour the better, so it made an interesting change.

I also received a bottle of Nubar Diamont topcoat in the post, that I ordered online, so I'm testing the two together.

I love love love how shiny and glossy they are! Jermyn St alone dried very glossy so it will be interesting to see how Nubar looks on top of another polish. With regard to chipping, Diamont has been AMAZING! I painted my nails 4 days ago and not a single chip, very impressive!

I did get a bit bored of the colour so I attempted DIY neon tips using Rimmel's 60 Seconds polish in 415 Instyle Coral.

What do you think? Any other nude polish recommendations? X

Mini haul!

Since the weather has been so gorgeous I thought it would be rude not to take a stroll to the shops and pick up some new things, especially as it meant avoiding the gym and uni essays!

I purchased:

Rimmel 60 Seconds polish in 415 Instyle Coral. Despite having loads of nail varnishes this is actually my first coral shade!

Max Factor Max Effect polish in Fantasy Fire. Yes I thought I'd jump on the blog train of giving this a whirl as I love polishes that are a bit different and a Chanel dupe is never going to be a bad thing.

Nubar Diamont. I ordered this from Amazon as my previous top coat had become too gloopy. So far, loving it.

Max Factor Smooth Effect foundation in Creamy Ivory 45. This is my first foray into non luxury foundation ever! An equally pale friend of mine had recommended Max Factor's Colour Adapt but my Boot's didn't have any stock of their palest shade and I have come home with this one.

Cosmopolitan Eyelash Curler. Admittedly, I've never used one of these before other than those generic silver ones in my teen years when I pulled out a load of eyelashes. Shall be interesting.

Nivea Sun Pure + Sensitive Sun Lotion SPF 50. With it getting warmer I want to get some serious protection on my face. This shall be used after my skincare routine and before my makeup.

Superdrug Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream. I really need to start using a moisturiser so I am starting here after seeing good reviews of this range in various blogs. I am terrified of distressing my sensitive skin so thought something basic might be a nice start before succumbing to those tiny sized and mega pricey luxury brand ones.

Have you tried any of these? X

Barry M Lip Paint 124 Touch Of Magic

I decided to do a quick review of this really interesting Barry M Lip Paint, LP124: Touch Of Magic  as I chose to wear it today.

iPad 3rd Generation Case

Bit of a departure from my usual post but I'm a total gadget geek (ok my phone is a battered old Blackberry) so couldn't resist this post!

NOTW: Accessorize + Barry M Glitters

Very confusingly I just deleted the content of most of my posts and have been able to retrieve them all except this one.

Just a quick one of my current nails, consisting of 3 different glitter polishes:

1. Accessorize Pin Up.
2. Accessorize Crystal Shimmer £4
3. Barry M Hologram Hexograms £3.99

Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in Grand Garnet

Sorry for the gap in posts! Been really busy recently with uni and getting a car again (woop!).

Having lost my fave everyday lipstick, MAC Viva Glam Cyndi, I've been looking for a dupe. A quick google search led me to Revlon's Colorstay lipstick in grand garnet.

Bargain alert

As well as posting about beauty and skincare, I also plan on making the occasional bargain post as I love a good deal :)

To start off with is the Kindle version of An Idiot Abroad: The Travel Diaries of Karl Pilkington for 20p!! Yes just 20p. This is bound to be a great read for anyone that enjoys the TV programme or Ricky and Stephen's other work. I've purchased it to keep me entertained tonight when I travel to Manchester for the weekend.

Let me know if you've read it and what you thought! Or if you have any other great deals :)

NOTW: OPI I Have A Herring Problem

It didn't take me long at all to dive into my new OPI mini's collection I posted about earlier and I've started with I Have A Herring Problem. It is a lovely medium grey/blue with tiny blue and silver sparkle that needed two coats for full coverage. The colour looks really different in natural light, a lot more blue than the bottle. I really love the colour though I know I would never have bought it solo so loving these mini collections as I'll have never finished the full sized bottles.

L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub Review

Boots currently have 3 for 2 on loads of different products ranging from skincare to fake tan so thought I'd take advantage and try out a few new products.

I have finally found some skincare products my face agrees with (I love you Avene) and while it has calmed down, it isn't feeling very smooth. Queue L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub for all skin types.

Getting In The Swing Of Things

I am promising myself to start updating regularly!

Just received 3 parcels in the post that I'm excited to talk about: a new take on the hot water bottle, a new make up buying website and my first Glossybox!
